Funeral services for Eliece Kim Wilson Rogers were Tuesday, June 9, 2015, with burial in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Michael Smith officiated the services. Wilson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. Pallbearers were Ricky Wilson, Allen Thurman, Craig Sanders, Lynn Wilson, Ronnie Fortenberry and Kevin Rayborn. Honorary pallbearers were members of the Bethany Sunday School class.
Visitation was held at Bethel Baptist Church in Monticello on Monday, June 8, 2015.
Mrs. Rogers died Sunday, June 7, 2015, at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. She was born April 27, 1962 to Mr. Berry Douglas Wilson and Mrs. Dianne Golmon Wilson.
Kim, known by her family and friends, was a faithful member of Bethel Baptist Church. She cared for her family and was an inspiration to anyone she met. Kim loved camping with her husband, Larry, traveling, spending time with her grandchildren, shopping, the beach, watching baseball, reading, working in her flowerbeds and loved a good meal. She was also a devoted volunteer at the Center for Pregnancy Choices.
She is preceded in death by her father.
Survivors are her husband of 34 years, Larry Rogers; mother, Dianne Wilson, of Monticello; son, Matthew Rogers and wife, Jessica, of Monticello; Cory Rogers and wife, Ryane, of Silver Creek; daughter, Samantha Rogers, of Monticello; and four grandchildren, Melanie Rogers, Micah Rogers, Tinsley Rogers, and Madalyn Boyte; along with a host of family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Center for Pregnancy Choices of Monticello.
