Funeral services for Brenda Gail Jones Case are 2 p.m., Sunday, June 14, 2015 at New Sight Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. 

Visitation is Saturday, June 13, 2015, from 5 until 9 p.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Service and also from 1 p.m. until time of service at New Sight. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Case, 66, of Brookhaven, died June 10, 2015, at her residence. She was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on Sept. 28, 1948, to Leonard R. Jones and Susie Ann Jones.

She was a legal secretary at Joe Fernald Law Office and was a member of New Sight Baptist Church. Brenda was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved her family and adored her grandchildren. She was an inspiration to many people throughout her life and especially through her illness.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors are her husband, Carroll Case; sons, Dewayne Magee and wife, Joannah, of Brandon, James “Jimmy” Magee of Cleveland and Anthony Case and wife, Missy, of Brookhaven; daughter, Yvonne Magee Auttonberry and husband, James, of Fort Polk, Louisiana; brother, James “Buddy” Cousins of Marrero, Louisiana; sister, Ann Williamson of Sterlington, Louisiana; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews.
