Graveside services for Billy Winston Freeman Sr. are 1 p.m. Thursday, June 18, 2015, at Greenlawn Memorial Park cemetery with the Rev. Bo Swilley officiating. Burial will follow at the cemetery under the direction Laird Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Billy W. Freeman Jr., Gregory Freeman, Travis Freeman, Tyler Freeman, Dylan Knapp and Conner Freeman.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. Thursday, June 18, 2015, at the funeral home.

Mr. Freeman, 77, of Natchez died Tuesday, June 16, 2015, at Merit Health Natchez Community Campus. He was born Dec. 12, 1937, in Auburn, to John Henry Freeman and Georgia Anne Allred Freeman.

He was an avid fisherman and loved his grandchildren, coaching baseball and gardening.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Margaret I. Freeman; two brothers, Roy and Gordon Freeman; one sister, Bobbie Nell Smith; and one grandchild, Nicole Bullen.

Survivors are his six children, Billy W. Freeman Jr. and wife, Marcine, of Morton, Gregory “Gigi” Freeman and wife, Jennifer, of Vidalia, Rebecca Causey, Travis E. Freeman and wife, Krys, Morgan L. Freeman and Meagan E. Freeman all of Natchez; eight grandchildren, Chad Ray, Dylan Knapp, Conner Freeman, Sarah Freeman, Anne Bullen, Haley Freeman, Tyler Freeman and Katye Freeman.
