Funeral services for Julian Moore Noland are Thursday, June 18, 2015, at 11 a.m. at Brookhaven Funeral Home (Natchez Drive) with burial in Bogue Chitto Cemetery. Bro. Lance Moak will be officiating the services. Brookhaven Funeral Home (Natchez Drive) is in charge of the arrangements. Pallbearers are Ken Hart, Roy Sather Jr., Gary Coleman, Ronnie Dawson, Samuel White and McKenzie Morgan.

Visitation was at Brookhaven Funeral Home (Natchez Drive) on Wednesday, June 17, 2015, from 5 until 8 p.m. and will continue at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Thursday, June 18, 2015, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.0618Julian Moore Noland Obit Pic

Mr. Noland, 90, of Bogue Chitto, died Tuesday, June 16, 2015, at his residence. He was born Feb. 9, 1925, in Magnolia to Alvin West and Sue McRaney Noland.

He served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a retired mechanic from Diamond International. He was of the Methodist faith. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his sons and friends. He was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Sonny Noland; sister, Laverne Noland Jordan; and granddaughter, Mindy Neal.

Survivors are his sons, Julian Earl Noland of Bogue Chitto, and Alvin Ray Noland and wife, Mary, of New Albany; daughters, Sylvia Johnston Partridge of Bogue Chitto, and Deborah Noland Herrera and husband, Angelo, of Summit; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; mother of his children, Eloise Noland Bozeman; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
