Mr. and Mrs. Eric Ates, of Brookhaven, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Savannah Lindsey Brister, of Brookhaven to Mitchell Brent Henderson of Brookhaven.

She is the daughter of the late Robbie D. Brister.

He is the son of Ms. Amy Henderson and Mr. and Mrs. Vance Henderson of Brookhaven.

She is the granddaughter of Carroll and Diann Allen and Paul and Charolotte Brister of Brookhaven.

He is the grandson of Joe and Sybil Freeman, Larry and Rose Henderson, Mark and Linda Calcote of Brookhaven.

The bride-elect is a 2012 graduate of Brookhaven Academy and is currently attending Copiah-Lincoln Community College and is enrolled in the radiology program.

The prospective groom is a 2010 graduate of Brookhaven Academy. He is currently employed with Welding Testing Laboratory and X-Ray in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

The couple will exchange vows at 7 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 1, 2015, at Ole Towne Church. A reception will follow.

All friends and relatives are invited to attend the wedding and the reception.
