Funeral services for Ann Rushing Cross are 10 a.m. Thursday, July 8, 2015, at First Presbyterian Church with Dr. Mark Mueller officiating. Burial will be in Alabama National Cemetery, Montevallo, Alabama. 

Visitation is from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 8, 2015, at Laughlin Service Funeral Home.

Mrs. Cross, 74, of Huntsville, died Sunday, July 5, 2015.

She graduated from Gilfoy School of Nursing in 1961. She retired as a registered nurse from Huntsville Hospital after many years of service.  She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and a member of First Presbyterian Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Vollmer Cross.

Survivors include children, Mike Cross of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida, Ola Williams (David) of Clay, Alabama, and Brian Cross (Kasy) of Helena, Alabama; grandchildren, Michael Cross (Christina) of Milton, Florida, Hannah Williams of Clay, Alabama and Elsie Cross of Helena, Alabama; and great-grandchildren, Benjamin and Abigail Cross of Milton, Flordia.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Presbyterian Home for Children, P.O. Drawer 577, Talladega, AL 35161-9975.
