Mr. Beeson died Monday, July 6, 2015. He was born on Aug. 17, 1937, in Brookhaven and moved to Natchez where he attended Natchez High School. He married Edith Beeson on July 9, 1962, and the two of them built a life together in Crystal Springs.
Mr. Beeson spent more than 30 years as an x-ray technician with Westinghouse, which became CGR and then G.E. Medical. He retired in 2000. He also served in the Air Force. He loved to play softball and enjoyed spending time at the Crystal Springs Hunting Camp in Rodney. While he loved all sports, he was an avid Mississippi State Bulldog fan.
Bobby and Edith celebrate their 53rd wedding anniversary on July 9, 2015. When two people get married and spend more than 50 years together, their two stories become one story. And now Bobby’s story will live on in Edith and in all of the lives their union touched. As family and friends continue on, their journeys will be forever etched with the legacy of Bobby Beeson. Family, friends and the entire community of Crystal Springs will carry Bobby Beeson in their hearts. Let us remember his laughter, generosity and his ability to simply sit without the need for conversation. Let his solitude become our solace, his patience become our grace and his humor lighten our load. Let his memory make our days fuller, brighter and better.
