St. James helps build stronger readers with summer program

The weekly reading program was started at St. James Missionary Baptist Church in reaction to the Third Grade Reading Gate test that helps build reading and comprehension skills in children ranging from kindergarten to third grade. The program will resume today at 6 p.m.
