Funeral services for James M. Alexander are 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2015, at Calvary Pentecostal Church with burial at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2015, from 5 until 9 p.m. at Calvary Pentecostal Church. He will also lie in state from 1 p.m. until time of service on Wednesday.

Mr. Alexander, 85, of Ruth, died Sunday, Sept. 13, 2015 at King’s Daughters Medical Center. He was born on March 28, 1930, to Clyde C. Alexander and Luna Roberts Alexander.

Preceding him in death were his parents; son, James Steve Alexander; and sister, Lenace Alexander Dunaway.

He is survived by his wife, Ideva Alexander; son, Terry Alexander and wife, Terry; brother, Billy Joe Alexander; sister, Helen Alexander Ratcliff; and grandson, Shawn Alexander.
