Funeral services for Joseph Pate Lambert are Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015, at 11 a.m. at Jones Funeral Home with burial in Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Blake Boyd, Randall Halford, Bryan McDonald, Royce Nations, Steven Beasley and Jose Maldonado. Honorary pallbearers will be Jacob Lambert, Thomas Lambert and Phillip Price.

Bro. Thomas Case will officiate the services. Jones Family Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Friday, Sept. 18, 2015, from 5 until 8 p.m. and will continue Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

Mr. Lambert, 23, of Jayess, died Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2015, at his residence. He was born on June 26, 1992 in Brookhaven to Jackie H. Lambert and Charlotte Bowman Price.

He graduated from Lawrence County High School where he was a football player and also played baseball. He always had a smile and was a good-hearted person. He liked to hunt and fish. He loved his children dearly, and he also liked to have parties.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; two uncles, Jimmy Lambert and Bobby Ruby.

Survivors include his father; his mother her and husband, Phillip; his fiancée and mother of their children, Megan Nations; two daughters, Ava Marie Lambert and Alakai Grace Lambert; two brothers, Shelton Lambert and Jacob Lambert; two sisters, Caitlin Lambert and Emily Lambert; one nephew, Kai Lambert.
