Lipsey Peewee football kicked off Thursday night at King Field as the Red/White team defeated the Navy Team 12-6 in the opener and the Red Team cruised past the White/Navy Team 24-12 in the finale.

League action continues Tuesday at King Field as the White/Navy team battles the Navy team at 6 p.m. and the White/Red team take on the Red team at 7 p.m.

Red/White 12, Navy 6 

Will Loy led the Red/White team with two passing touchdowns. Jordan Baker and Jake Meilstrup caught the touchdown passes from Loy.

Maney Miller hooked up with Malachi Williams for Navy’s touchdown

Red 24, White/Navy 12 

Wayne Dickey Jr. was the offensive leader on the Red team as he passed for two touchdowns and rushed for another touchdown.

Cortez Hunt caught the two passes for the touchdowns. Latavia Hill intercepted a pass and ran it back for a touchdown.

Kermit Sartim powered the White/Navy team with two rushing touchdowns.
