WESSON – Brooke Lester scored two goals to lead the Northwest Mississippi Lady Rangers to a 4-1 non-division win over the Co-Lin Lady Wolves.

Co-Lin scored the first goal of the game as the Lady Rangers scored in goal at the 14:13 mark in the first half.

The Lady Rangers (4-4-1) would tie the game at 1-1 on a goal by Taylor Selby with 8 minutes left in the first half.

Northwest would take a 2-1 lead in the first minute of the second half on a goal by the Lady Wolves. Lester scored off a free kick to put the Lady Rangers up 3-1 with 26 minutes remaining in the game. She scored her second goal of the game in just minutes later to give Northwest the 4-1 win.

The Lady Wolves (0-7) return to action on Friday, Sept. 5, when they travel to Senatobia to take on the Lady Rangers.
