Emily Lynn Thornton and Adam Craig Ramage announce their engagement and approaching marriage.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Bobby and Dixie Thornton of Wesson.  She is the granddaughter of the late Wilmer and Elene Hutson of Wesson and William “Billy” and Bertha Thornton of Hazlehurst.

The groom-elect is the son of Robert and Robin Ramage of Florence.  He is the grandson of Effie Ramage and the late Charlie Loyd Ramage of Kilmichael and John West Mims and the late Frances Mims of Winona.

She is a graduate of Florence High School and Jones County Junior College.  She continued her education at the University of Mississippi to pursue a degree in studio art.  She is currently employed as an account executive in the corporate headquarters of Car Care Clinic, Inc. in Flowood.

He is a graduate of Florence High School and continued his education at Holmes County Community College.  He served eight years in the U.S. Marines Corp and continues his military service in the Mississippi National Guard.  He is a staff supervisor for U.S. Lawns located in Pearl.

The couple will exchange vows on Saturday, Oct. 3, 2015 at Rosegate in Florence.
