Alabama A&M beats Jackson State

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (AP) – Harvey Harris ran for a touchdown late in the fourth quarter to lift Alabama A&M to a 28-22 win over Jackson State on Saturday.
Harris’ game-winning 3-yard scoring run came with the Bulldogs (2-4, 2-2 Southwestern Athletic Conference) trailing 22-20.
Damion May, who started in place of the injured De’Angelo Ballard, passed for two touchdowns and Octavious Miles scored on a 99-yard kickoff return.
After leading 13-12 at the break, the Bulldogs fell behind midway through the third quarter, 19-13, when Jackson State’s Jarius Moore scored on a 4-yard run.
May found Jonathan Dorsey for an 18-yard touchdown late in the fourth quarter to put the Bulldogs back on top, 20-19. But Jackson State’s Ryan Deising kicked a field goal with three minutes to go to give the Tigers (1-5, 1-3) a 22-20 edge.
