WESSON – For the third time this season, Copiah-Lincoln kicker/punter Greg Nickles has been named Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) Special Teams Player of the Week.

Kicker Greg Nickles was 4-of-4 on PATs, kicked a 26-yard field goal, punted four times for 158 yards (39.5 avg.) and had five kickoffs for 305 yards (2 inside the 20) in Co-Lin’s 31-30 OT upset of No. 7 ranked Gulf Coast.

The sophomore from Pelahatchie (East Rankin Academy) has been named Special Teams Player of the Week in Week 1 against Itawamba, Week 4 against Southwest Mississippi and will be nominated for NJCAA National Player of the Week honors.
