Frances Lee Gatlin Adams

Frances Lee Gatlin Adams died at home on Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2015, after being diagnosed with terminal cancer on Sept. 9, 2015. She was born Feb. 11, 1942, to Clifton Tyne Gatlin and Susie Merle Burns Green in Bogue Chitto where she grew up.
She was an active member of the United Pentecostal Church of Hurley for 24 years.
She is preceded in death by her father, Clifton Gatlin in 1979; and her mother, Susie Green in 1994; her husband, John Adams in 1980; a brother, Jerry Gatlin in the Vietnam War; a granddaughter, Amanda Marie Adams 2010.
Survivors are her two sons, Vance (Darlene) Adams of Gulfport and Johnny Pfeiffer of Lucedale; two daughters, Tina Ford and Gena (Jerome) Davis of Lucedale; 12 grandchildren, Michelle Knox of McComb, Jamie Lauve of New Orleans, Louisiana, April Allen and Mandy Ervins, both of Gulfport, Roxie Adams, Angel Taylor, Jared Ford, Jessica Calderon, Brian Pfeiffer, Jazmine Lomax, all of Lucedale, Monique Triplett of Fairhope, Alabama, April Pfeiffer of Moore, Oklahoma; 23 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Elizabeth Avery and Betty Hall of Lucedale, Carol Harris of Michigan and Delilah Hayes of Brookhaven; two brothers, Ronnie Givens of Bogue Chitto and Terry Gatlin of Denham Springs, Louisiana; and a host of nieces and nephews and friends.
