The Brookhaven Academy boys’ soccer team stepped out of district play Thursday night to challenge Oak Forest and secured their third shutout of the year with a 5-0 victory.

The Cougars were led by Peyton Smith and Nic Cizner with a goal and an assist each. Grayson Devito contributed with two goals and Carson Rounsaville had one goal.

With the win, BA improves its record to 4-1 on the year.

The Cougars are in action next week with district games at ACCS on Monday and back at home on Thursday at 5 against Laurel Christian.
