Funeral services for Hannah Hart Smith will be 10 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 12, 2015, at Wellman Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is from 5 until 9 p.m., Friday, Dec. 11, 2015, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service and will resume Saturday, Dec. 12, 2015, from 9 a.m. until time of services at Wellman Baptist Church.  Lie in state will be Saturday, Dec. 12, 2015, from 9 until 10 a.m. at the church.

Ms. Smith, 27, of Brookhaven, died Thursday, Dec. 10, 2015. She was born March 8, 1988.

She was co-owner of Judy’s II shoe store in Brookhaven and was also a buyer and salesperson in her store. She was a graduate of Brookhaven Academy and a member of Bogue Chitto Baptist Church. Hannah was a free spirit that loved the outdoors. She spent a lot of time hunting, fishing and taking pictures. She also had a special touch with children, and loved seeing and waiting on them in the shoe store. She had a big heart and would stop anything to help a friend.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Thomas Harold Smith and J.V. Meredith; and niece, Emery Rose Smith.

Survivors are her parents, Donald Earl Smith and Debbie Hart Smith; brother, Sawyer Smith and wife, Kayla; nephew, Tommy Sawyer Smith; niece, Georgia Rae Smith; and her cherished companion, Lennie, her dog.
