Washington Huskies sophomore defensive back Sidney Jones has been named to the PAC-12 first team defense, second team PAC-12 in academics, first team district All-American in academic and Pac-12 Top Defensive back.

Jones has some Brookhaven roots – he is the great grandson of the late Glady Watson, nephew of Lillie P. Franklin and grandson of Charles Watson.

Jones and his Washington Huskies will battle the University of Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles in the Dallas Bowl Dec. 26.
