Arrests

The Lincoln County Jail Docket for Monday was as follows:

• Ashley Smith, 12-06-88, of 553 Montgomery Road, Bogue Chitto — arrested for probation violation by Mississippi Department of Corrections.

Copiah County Reports 

The Wesson Volunteer Fire Department reported a medical call on Tyson Road. Firefighters responded at approximately 2:06 p.m. and cleared the scene at 2:37 p.m.

Highway Patrol Reports

Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop M reported a two-vehicle car accident with no injuries. The incident occurred on Highway 550 near Loyd Star at around 2:58 p.m.

King’s Daughters Ambulance Report

King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service had nine calls Tuesday; two were transfers, with both to Jackson. There were seven emergency calls, with four medical, three in the city and one in the county. There were three motor vehicle accidents in the city.

Local weather stats

The Wastewater Treatment Facility in Brookhaven reported a high of 57 degrees for Tuesday and a low of 38. The temperature at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday was 51 degrees. There was .06 inches of precipitation.

River stages

On Tuesday the Mississippi River stage at Vicksburg, where the flood stage is 43 feet, was 37.6, up 1.0 feet in the past 24 hours. In Natchez, where the flood stage is 48 feet, was 44.6, up 0.4 feet in the past 24 hours. The Pearl River stage at Jackson, where the flood stage is 12 feet, was 14.7, up 0.1 feet in the past 24 hours.
