Funeral services for Blanche Alean Smith of Wesson are Tuesday Jan. 5, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Zion Hill Baptist Church in Wesson with burial at the church cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements

Visitation is Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2016 from 9 a.m. until time of service at the church.

Mrs. Smith, 88, died Jan. 2, 2016 at King’s Daughters Medical Center. She was born on June 11, 1927 to George and Hermie Lewis.

She was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Walter Smith Jr.; brothers, Arthur Lewis and Norman Lewis; and sister, Hermie Lewis.

Survivors are her sons, Paul Smith and Michael Smith; daughter, Peggy Smith Taylor and Theresa Lumley; brothers, J.G. Lewis and Claude Lewis; sister, Margie Curtis; 10 grandchildren, Chris Smith Granger, Jason Smith, Brian Smith, Tristen Smith Bowen, Emily Hart McKinley, Scott Smith, Delaney Smith, Tyler Lumley, Patrick Lumley and Brandon Lumley; 10 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members.
