Funeral services for Charles Ray Beard were Saturday, Jan. 2, 2016, at 10:30 a.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Service with burial at Little Bahala Cemetery.

Visitation was Friday Jan. 1, 2016, from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Beard, 77, died on Dec. 31, 2015, at Golden Living Center. He was born Jan. 11, 1938 to Clarence Ray Beard and Quinnie Mae Beard.

Preceding him in death were his parents; wife, Bonnie Faye Beard; grandson, Lance Randall Beard; great-grandson, Brett Alan Greene; brother, J.R. Beard; and sister, Louella Floyd.

Survivors are his sons, Randall Beard and Robert Beard and wife, Cheryl; daughter, Louise Baker and husband, Butch; six grandchildren, Brandon Beard, Nicole Teaster, Erin Baker, Ashley Greene, Taylor Brown and Colby Beard; eight great-grandchildren, Lily Beard, Lylah Beard, Hayden Teaster, Cade Teaster, Olivia Teaster, Stelina Brown, Destiny Beard and Lance Beard.
