Funeral services for Fred E. Miller are Saturday, Jan. 9, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Brookhaven Funeral Home with burial in Easthaven Cemetery. Bro. Billy Joe Deer will be officiating the services. Brookhaven Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be Saturday, Jan. 9, 2016, from 9 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.

Mr. Miller, 88, of Brookhaven, died Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2016, at King’s Daughters Medical Center. He was born Oct. 25, 1927 in Tallulah, Louisiana to M. Sexton and Lillie White Miller.

He was of the Baptist faith and a member of First Baptist Church in Brookhaven. He loved airplanes, antique cars and tractors and was a devoted son, brother, uncle and friend.

He was preceded in death by his parents; twin brother, Edwin Otis Miller; and sister, Evelyn Murdy.

Survivors include his nieces, Brenda Ashmore and her husband, Larry, of Seeley Lake, Montana and Jane Pearl Jones and her husband, Paul, of St. Petersburg, Florida; friend and caretaker, Dale Norton and his wife, Debbie, of Brookhaven; and a host of cousins and friends.
