Funeral services for John Mason Gaston are Saturday, Jan. 9, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Service.

Visitation is Saturday, Jan. 9, 2016 held from 9 a.m. until time of service at Riverwood.

Mr. Gaston, 91, of Wesson, died Jan. 7, 2016 at Country Brook Living Center. He was born Dec. 20, 1924 in Belmont, North Carolina.

Mr. Gaston worked at Wesson Attendance Center in the maintenance department. He was a member of Mission Hill Baptist Church in Wesson.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie Marie Ward Gaston; parents, Samuel Ross Gaston and Lilly Mae Callwell Gaston; three sisters and one brother.

He is survived by his son, Samuel “Ward” Gaston and wife, Darlene.
