Funeral services for Willena Haley Smith of Lincoln County are Thursday, Jan. 28, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Heucks Retreat Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.  Bro. Ken Parvin and Dr. Ken Kirk will officiate the services. Brookhaven Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. 

Visitation was Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2016, from 5 until 8 p.m. and will continue on Thursday, Jan. 28, 2016, from 10 a.m. until time of services.

Mrs. Smith, 97, died Monday, Jan. 25, 2016, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Brookhaven. She was born April 27, 1918, to Joel Walter Haley and Frances Theodosia Moore Haley.

Mrs. Smith was retired from Stahl Urban Manufacturing Company. She was a member of Heucks Retreat Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Richard L. Smith; daughter, Jo Smith Mathews; sisters, Pauline Haley Wells, Ruby Haley Smith, Nell Haley, Mary Haley, Lavada Haley Smith and Moreta Haley Lea; brothers, Truman Haley, Harlan Haley, Dorris Haley and Barney Haley; son-in-law, Charlie Mathews; special nephew, Mike Smith; and special friend, Sue Earline Smith.

Survivors are her many friends and family along with a host of nieces and nephews.
