Fire reports
The Brookhaven Fire Department responded to a possible apartment fire at 900 Williams St. at 3:55 a.m. Friday. Upon inspection firefighters found it was a false alarm and returned to the station at 4:10 a.m. BFD also responded to a false alarm at 5:41 a.m. Saturday at Silver Cross Nursing Home. Firefighters returned at 6:20 a.m.

Highway Patrol reports
Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop M responded to a single vehicle accident with injuries at 7:19 p.m. Saturday on I-55
SB near the 34 milemarker.

King’s Daughters Medical Center ambulance reports
King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service reports nine calls for Friday. Two were transfers, one to Jackson, one to Hattiesburg. There were seven emergencies; five medical with three in the city and two in county. There were two
MVAs in the city.
