Local basketball games postponed due to weather

Several of today’s basketball games have been postponed due to the threat of severe weather.
Brookhaven Academy has moved its district tournament games at Adams County Christian School to Wednesday. The Lady Cougars battle Simpson Academy at 4, followed by the boys at 7:45 p.m. against ACCS.
Lawrence County has also rescheduled its games against McComb for Wednesday. The LCHS Cougars will tip off at 6, followed by the boys at 7:30 p.m.
Brookhaven has moved its game against Jim Hill to Wednesday. Action begins at 6 p.m.
Wesson has moved its games against Hazlehurst until Thursday. The Lady Cobras take on the Lady Indians at 6, followed by the boys at 7:30 p.m. in Wesson.
West Lincoln will also be in action Thursday as the Bears and Lady Bears travel to Liberty to battle Region 7-2A foe Amite County. Action starts at 5 p.m.
Bogue Chitto has moved its game against Salem to Monday. The Lady Cats and Bobcats will travel to Walthall County to take on Salem at 6 and 7:30 p.m.
As of right now, Loyd Star and Enterprise are still on tap to play today.
Loyd Star will host Enterprise for four games, starting at 4 p.m.
