Funeral services for Michael Taylor are Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2016, at 3 p.m. at Brookhaven Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Pleasant Ridge Pentecostal Church Cemetery.  Bro. Steven Williams and Bro. Jared Williams will officiate. Brookhaven Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. 

Visitation is Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2016, from 1 until 3 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Taylor, 52, died Jan. 30, 2016, in Copiah County. He was born May 18, 1963, in Brookhaven to James and Virginia Adams Taylor.

He attended Genesis Church in Atoka, Tennessee. He enjoyed fishing and making things with his hands. He was a loving husband, son, father, grandfather, brother and friend.

Preceding him in death were his parents, James and Virginia Adams Taylor; brothers, Lannie Taylor and Tommy Taylor; great-nephew, Jake Taylor; brother­in­law, Mitchell Britt; and sister­in­law, Gwen Brooks Harding.

Survivors are his wife of eight years, Connie Britt Taylor; daughter, Amanda Taylor; step­daughter, Tiffany Ruffin Leopard and husband, Joseph; step­son, Jeremy

Ruffin; brothers, Terry Taylor and wife, Paige of Jackson and Kenny Taylor and wife, Regina of Longview, Texas; mother­in­law, Lola Hensarling of Brookhaven; sister­in­law, Bonita Faye Hart of Brookhaven; six grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
