BOGUE CHITTO – Bogue Chitto’s powerlifting team captured its seventh straight Region 4-1A Championship crown Friday night.

“I am really proud of our guys’ efforts,” said coach Chad Norton. “In our rebuilding season, the guys have come together and worked their tails off to continue our streak of seven straight Region 4-1A championships. Our inexperience showed at times today with only one kid lifting off last year’s team, but they kept thinking positive and we came out on top today.”

Bogue Chitto had 12 lifters to participate in the meet against Stringer, who brought four lifters and Sacred Heart, who brought seven lifters.
