The Brookhaven Fire Department responded to a grass fire at 3:20 p.m. Saturday on Monticello Street. BFD responded to a grass fire at 6:05 p.m. Sunday on S. First Street. BFD responded to an accident involving two vehicles at 4:36 a.m. Monday on I-55 N. at mile marker 40. Injuries were reported. BFD responded to a gas leak at 7:54 a.m. Monday on Madison Road. BFD responded to a fire alarm at 11:56 a.m. Monday on S. Railroad Avenue.

The Wesson Police Department reported serving one contempt warrant for Monday.

 

Highway Patrol reports

Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop M responded to a single vehicle accident without injuries at 2:26 a.m. Sunday on I-55 N. at mile marker 48. MHP responded to a single vehicle accident without injuries at 12:32 a.m. Monday on I-55 N. at mile marker 42. MHP responded to an accident involving two vehicles at 4:38 a.m. Monday on I-55 N. at mile marker 40. Injuries were reported. MHP responded to a single-vehicle accident without injuries at 7 p.m. Monday on I-55 N. at mile marker 48.

 

King’s Daughters Ambulance report

King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service reports 35 calls for Saturday through Monday; with 12 transfers, eight to Jackson, one to Lincoln County, one to Pike County and two in the city. There were 23 emergencies; 16 medical, with 11 in the city and five in the county; three traumas, with two in the city and one in the county; and four MVAs, with three in the city and one in the county.
