Debra Lynn Halverson

Debra Lynn Halverson, 53, died Monday, Feb. 15, 2016, in Brookhaven.

Ms. Halverson was born in California, graduated high school in West Virginia, and she was a long-time resident of Brookhaven. She was employed with Wal-Mart for over 20 years as a door greeter, where she was known as “Little D.”  She loved to knit, crochet and to make puzzles, and she was of the Baptist faith.

Preceding her in death were her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles S. Ralston; and her uncle, Glen G. Ralston.

Survivors are her parents, Carolyn and Donald Mieger of Biloxi; sister, Diana Grant (Tommy) of Ocean Springs; brother, Donald W. Mieger Jr. (Tracy) of Carriere; her step-sister, Rebecca Kalentzia of St. Thomas; uncle and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Carl G. Ralston of Bainbridge, Georgia; nieces, Arielle K. Mieger of Carriere and Stephanie Echard of Ohio; nephew, Andrew D. Mieger of Carriere; and her fiancé, Jeff Line of Brookhaven.

The family requests that since there will be no services, that memorial contributions be made to the Boswell Regional Center, P.O. Box 128, Magee, MS 39111. Riemann Family Funeral Home in Biloxi served the family and condolences may be shared on the online guestbook at www.riemannfamily.com.
