Funeral services for Delores Eloise Cloy are Friday, Feb. 19, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Service with burial at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. 

Visitation is Friday, Feb. 19, 2016, from 9:30 a.m. until time of services at Riverwood.

Mrs. Cloy, 83, died Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2016, at her residence in Brookhaven surrounded by family.  She was born Jan. 19, 1933, in Cullman, Alabama.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and an active member of her church. She formerly served as music ministry secretary at Macedonia Baptist Church. Throughout her life she enjoyed traveling with her husband, gardening, baking and bird watching. Her greatest fulfillment was working in areas where she felt needed.

Preceding her in death were her loving husband, Jon R. Cloy of Beaumont, Texas; the father of their children, Jack Patterson of Dadeville, Alabama; parents, Mary Etta and Joseph Kratochville of Mobile, Alabama.

Survivors are her daughters, Mary McKay and husband, Jim, and Debbie Ratcliff and husband, Clinton, all of Brookhaven; 10 grandchildren, Heather Watts, Holly Bloomquist, Hope Ratcliff, Justin Ratcliff, Joey Ratcliff, Hailey Ratcliff, Katherine Mincey, John McKay, Joseph McKay and Julie McKay; and 13 great-grandchildren.
