Funeral services for Linda Carol Doerner are Friday, Feb. 19, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Brookhaven Funeral Home with burial at Stewart Cemetery in Bogue Chitto. Bro. Alan Jenkins will officiate. Brookhaven Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 

Visitation is Thursday, Feb. 18, 2016, from 5 until 8 p.m. at Brookhaven Funeral Home.

Mrs. Doerner, 53, died Feb. 15, 2016, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Brookhaven. She was born Nov. 18, 1962 in Brookhaven to Ray Hodges and Mary Ann Caves Hodges.

She was of the Baptist faith and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a devoted homemaker and the best “nanny” to all her grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her father, Ray Hodges; niece, Emily Ann Hodges; and grandparents, Everett and Ruth Jackson and Manuel and Francis Hodges.

Survivors are her husband, Billy Doerner of Bogue Chitto; sons, Adam

McFall, Mitchell Ray Hodges and wife, Kimberly, and Jason McFall, all of Bogue Chitto; mother, Mary Ann Caves of Bogue Chitto; brothers, Paul Edward Hodges and wife, Sharon, of Loyd Star and Dempsey Hodges and wife, Rita, of Bogue Chitto; step­children, Desiree Doerner, Chris Dunaway, Jason Dunaway and Chad Dunaway; nine grand­children; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
