Funeral services for Georgia Elizabeth Moore Rippy of Bogue Chitto are Monday, Feb. 22, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Service with burial at the Harris –Rawls Cemetery.

Visitation is Sunday, Feb. 21 from 5 until 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Rippy, 78, died Feb. 18, 2016 at her residence.

She was born on Sept. 20, 1937 to William Moore and Becky Buitt Moore. She was a retired dairy farmer, a homemaker and a member of Johnson Grove Church of Christ.

Preceding her in death are her parents; husband, Jessie Rippy; grandson, Justin Rippy; brothers, Alvin Moore, Charles Moore, Willie Moore, Robert Moore, Tommy Moore, Solon Moore and Floyd Moore; sister, Bea Rippy and Cora Mae White.

Survivors are her sons, Jamie Rippy and wife, Susie, Ricky Rippy and wife, Sue, John Rippy, Jason Rippy and wife, Malinda; daughter, Becky Rippy Smith and husband, Billy; 17 grandchildren, Dusty Rippy and wife, April, Kim Rippy, Jennifer Bryant and husband, Charles, Kaity Prather and husband, Billy, Kylie Rippy, Lauren Gorenflo, Jessica Hodge and husband, Brady, Hanna Reid and husband, Trey, Megan Rippy, Brian Rippy, Ashley Stovall and husband, Trevor; 16 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and Nellie St Clair, Ruby Rippy, Texie Boyd and life-long friend Jeannette Bailey.
