Monticello reports

The Monticello Police Department reported no activity for Saturday through Monday.

The Monticello Fire Department responded to a smoking truck at 10:15 p.m. Saturday on Hwy 84. No injuries were reported. They responded to a fallen tree on a power line at 11:30 p.m. Monday at Hill View. No injuries were reported.

The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department reported no activity for Saturday through Monday.

 

Copiah County reports

The Wesson Police Department reported seven citations for Saturday through Monday.

The Copiah County Sheriff’s Department reported no activity for Saturday through Monday.

The Wesson Volunteer Fire Department reports were not available for Saturday through Monday.

 

Highway Patrol reports

Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop M responded to a single vehicle accident with injuries at 12:33 p.m. Saturday on I-55 S at mile marker 47. They responded to a single vehicle accident without injuries at 5:43 p.m. Saturday on Hwy 583 past Allen’s Grocery. They responded to a single vehicle accident without injuries at 10 a.m. Sunday on I-55 N at mile marker 42. They responded to an accident involving two vehicles at 11:19 p.m. Monday at I-55 N at mile marker 31. Injuries were reported.

 

King’s Daughters Ambulance report

King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service reports 48 calls for Saturday through Monday. Twelve were transfers, with seven to Jackson, one to Louisiana, one to Pike County, one to McComb and one in the city. There were 36 emergency calls; 26 medical, with 12 in the city and 14 in the county, five traumas, with three in the city and two in the county, and five MVAs in the county.
