Funeral services for Audra “Audrey” Mae Crosby Wright are Thursday, March 3, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church in Bogue Chitto with burial in the church cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 

Visitation is Wednesday, March 2, 2016, from 5 until 8 p.m. at Brookhaven Funeral Home and Thursday, March 3, 2016, from 10 a.m. until time of services at Calvary Baptist Church

Rev. Hal Hatten will officiate.

Mrs. Wright, 88, died Monday, Feb. 29, 2016, at her home in Bogue Chitto. She was born Feb. 16, 1928, in Bogue Chitto to Henry and Maude Smith Crosby.

She was of the Baptist faith and a lifetime member of Calvary Baptist Church in Bogue Chitto. She loved reading, quilting, crossword puzzles and her church and family. She was also a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband of 56 years, Vernon Wright; sisters, Imogene Crosby Falvey, Addie Faye Crosby Dixon and Jean Lynn Crosby Reeves; brothers, Henry “Sonny” Crosby Jr., John Wesley Crosby, Gerald “Jerry” Crosby and Lamar Crosby.

Survivors are her son, Shelton Thomas Wright and wife, Donna Williams Wright, of Bogue Chitto; grandchildren, Brandy Catherine (Wright) Reid and husband, Stephen, Christopher Michael Wright and wife, Mandy, and Roy Joseph McGovern and wife, Chanda; great-grandchildren, Rebekah Lynn Wright, William Tanner Wright, Kirby Stephen Reid, Brandon Kenneth Reid, Kolby Hart, Brady Hart, Roy Joseph McGovern and Colton Allen McGovern; great-great-grandchild, Kelsey Lynn Wright; sister, Edwina Allen and husband, Melvin; brother, James “Butch” Crosby and wife, Bobbie; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
