West Lincoln used three pitchers – Seth Bivens, Kylar Fielder and Turner Pyles – on the mound against the Tigers with hopes of turning things up around for the Bears, but it wasn’t enough as McComb overpowered West Lincoln to collect the win.

The Bears managed to get only one hit on the night which was by Brady Thompson.

Jamiah Andrews was the winning pitcher for the Tigers as he pitched four shutout innings to collect three strikeouts, one walk and allowed only one hit.

McComb came out strong in the first inning and scored five runs to begin the game and never trailed afterwards. The Tigers would plate five more runs in the second inning as Ja’terrious Wilson, Crishaun Speights and Equeriius Brumfield combined for five hits and six RBIs.

McComb would add to its lead with three runs in the third and three more run in the fourth innings to secure the win.
