Funeral services for Dorothy Jean Britt, of Brookhaven, are Wednesday, March 9, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Service with burial at Wesson Cemetery. 

Visitation is Tuesday, March 8, 2016, from 5 until 8 p.m. at Riverwood.

Mrs. Britt, 68, died March 7, 2016. She was born May 12, 1952, in Hazlehurst to Genniefred Watson and Orlean Harper Watson.

She was a homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

Preceding her in death were her parents; sister, Sandra Gorenflo; brother, Billy Ray Edwards; and granddaughter, Miranda Hope Wash.

Survivors are her husband, Bobby Britt; son, Bobby D. Britt Jr. and wife, Bridget; daughters, Linda J. Wash and husband, James, Annie O. Kees and Husband, Michael; brother, Jimmy Dale Watson; sisters, Ruth Posey and Catherine Britt; seven grandchildren, Victoria Wash, Jordan Kees, Joshua Wash, Jacob Britt, Joseph Wash, John Kees and Makenzie Britt; and one great-granddaughter, Anju Kees.
