Funeral services for Mary Elizabeth “Liz” Trainor are Tuesday, March 29, 2016, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Stockton, California, with burial in San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery. Immediately following services, a celebration of life will be held at the Italian Athletic Club of Stockton. DeYoung Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements. 

Visitation is Monday, March 28, 2016, from 4 until 8 p.m. at DeYoung Memorial Chapel in Stockton.

Mrs. Trainor, 80, died Monday, March 21, 2016, at Hospice of San Joaquin.

Mrs. Trainor was a long-time resident of Brookhaven, where she was very involved in St. Francis Catholic Church. She and her family moved back to California several years ago, but many of her dear friends remain in Brookhaven where she made many years of fond memories.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Edith Asborno and Frank Asborno; and brother Louis Asborno.

She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Don; and her children, Mike Poe, Christine Robinson (Stewart), Cheryl Mussa (Tony) and Jeff Trainor.
