The Loyd Star Hornets defeated the Pisgah Dragons 4-3 in tennis action Wednesday at the Brookhaven city courts.

Loyd Star was victorious in girls singles, girls No. 1 double and boys No. 1 and No. 2 doubles.

The Hornets, coach by Rhonda Hart, will return to action March 31 as they host the North Pike Jaguars at the Brookhaven city court. Matches begin at 4 p.m.
