Albert Hollis ‘Buster’ Bounds

Funeral services for Albert Hollis “Buster” Bounds of Brookhaven are Friday, April 1, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Springhill United Pentecostal Church with burial at Riverwood Memorial Park. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements. 

Visitation is Thursday, March 31, 2016, from 5 until 8 p.m. at Riverwood and Friday, April 1, 2016, from 1 p.m. until time of services at the church.

Mr. Bounds, 88, died Monday, March 28, 2016. He was born in Sebastopol on Aug. 9, 1927, to Andrew Mac Bounds and Annie Lou Tune Bounds.

Mr. Bounds was a World War II Army Veteran where he received the expert marksmanship award. He was a business owner in Brookhaven for 36 years and was a member of Springhill United Pentecostal Church. Mr. Bounds was very passionate about visiting the sick and helping those in need, but his greatest achievement was his dedication to his family.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Andrew and Annie Lou Bounds; and sister, Ruth Wilson.

Survivors are his wife of 62 years, Hazel Bounds; sons, Currie Bounds and wife, Robin and Ken Bounds and wife, Gina; five grandchildren, Bethany Kitchens, Benjamin Bounds, Connor Mac Bounds, Andrew Bounds and Brittany Burris; three great-grandchildren, Jude Burris, Bella Kitchens and Brody Kitchens; sister, Jean Gilmore; and honorary family members, Rev. Mark and Sis. Caroline Dooley.

Carolyn Sue Sanders

Funeral services for Carolyn Sue Sanders of Wesson are Thursday, March 31, 2016, at 10 a.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Service with burial in Wesson City Cemetery.

Visitation is Wednesday, March 30, 2016, from 5 until 9 p.m. at Riverwood.

Mrs. Sanders, 58, died Monday, March 28, 2016, at her residence. She was born April 11, 1957, to Lamar Tuneburg and Harriet Iris Strozier Tuneburg.

She was a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church where she was secretary and treasurer.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and brother, James Lee Tuneburg.

Survivors are her husband, Mickey Ray Sanders; son, Mickey Ray Sanders Jr.; daughters, Jennifer Linebaugh, Tawnya Van Hall and Katherine Williams; brothers,

Gary Tuneburg, Timothy Tuneburg and Edwin Tuneburg; sister, Laurie Bond; six grandchildren, Savannah Teasley, Breanna Sanders, Anthony “A.J.” Perkins, Ayden Perkins, Braylon Sanders and Brennan Sanders; mother‐in‐law, Van Farchild; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
