Brashier inks with Lady Blazers

Co-Lin Media / Natalie Davis / Copiah-Lincoln Community College sophomore infielder Lauren Brashier has signed with the Belhaven University Lady Blazers. Brashier, a utility player from Laurel, has started every game this season at second base. Currently, she is second on the team in hits (45), fourth on the team in batting average (.437), tied for the lead in doubles (11), while only striking out four times. Brashier, a Heidelberg Academy product, was named Mississippi Association of Community and Junior College Second Team All-State her freshman year.
