Funeral services for James Harold Weeks of Brookhaven are Thursday, April 7, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Service with burial at Mallalieu Methodist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is Wednesday, April 6, 2016, from 5 until 9 p.m. at Riverwood.

Mr. Weeks, 81, died Sunday, April 3, 2016, at his residence. He was born on June 4, 1934, to James W. and Beulah Lea Weeks.

He was a Construction Superintendent in the pipeline industry, a member of Mallalieu

United Methodist Church and served in the United States Navy.

Preceding him in death were his parents, James W. Weeks and Beulah Lea Weeks; and brother, John Calvin Weeks.

Survivors are his wife of almost 60 years, Kelsey Clements Weeks; sons, James Clay Weeks and wife, Connie, Wesley Kern Weeks and wife, Carla and Thomas Wade Weeks and wife, Angie; daughter, Karol Weeks Russell and husband, Donald; nine grandchildren, Kayla Kanak and husband, Kevin, Steven Smith, Shelby Weeks, Daniel Weeks, Luke Weeks,

Kaci Weeks, Thomas Weeks and wife, Katy, Caleb Weeks and James Weeks; three great-grandchildren, Reagan Kanak, Lane Weeks and Easton Weeks; and step-grandchildren,

D’Lana Barbay and husband, Troy, Charles Russell and Kayla Bruce.
