TYLERTOWN – The Franklin County Lady Bulldogs blanked Tylertown 15-0 Tuesday night in Region 7-3A fastpitch softball action.

“I am very proud of our girls’ effort tonight,” FCHS coach Sally Case. “Defensively we made plays and were error free. At the plate we found our stride and sharply put balls in play all night. We got key hits when we needed them, which we have struggled with. It looks like we are getting hot at the right time of the season.”

The Lady Bulldogs will return to action Saturday when they visit Loyd Star to play in the Lady Hornets’ softball tournament. Franklin County will face Wesson in the opener at 8:30 a.m. and play Lawrence County at 1 p.m.
