Funeral services for Helmer “David” Shell are Saturday, April 16, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Springhill Baptist Church in Knoxville with burial in the church cemetery. Bro. Mike Carraway will officiate. Franklin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  

Visitation is Friday, April 15, 2016, from 5 until 8 p.m. at Franklin Funeral Home and Saturday, April 16, 2016, from 1 p.m. until time of services at the church.

Mr. Shell, 74, died Thursday, April 14, 2016, at Merit Health Natchez in Natchez. He was born Feb. 15, 1942, in Franklin County to Aaron and Helen Helmer Shell.
