Ken and Pam Stamps, of Wesson, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Emma Stamps, of Wesson, to Lance Dale, of Dumas, Arkansas.

He is the son of Randy and Alisa Dale, of Dumas.

She is the granddaughter of Bonnie Chance and the late Gerald Chance, of Wesson, and the late James and Mary Alice Stamps, of Silver Creek.

He is the grandson of Kenneth and Ann VanNorman, of Summit, Jennie Lynn Godwin, of Smithdale, the late Kenneth Godwin and John and Joy Dale, of Woodville.

The bride-elect is a 2009 graduate of Brookhaven Academy and a graduate of Mississippi State University where she received a degree in animal and dairy science. She is currently employed with Mendenhall Junior High as a gifted teacher.

The prospective groom is a 2006 graduate of Dumas High School and a graduate of Mississippi State University where he received a degree in electrical engineering. He is currently employed with Walmart Distribution Center 6011.

The couple will exchange vows at 5:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 22, 2016, at Wesson Baptist Church. A reception will follow at Old Wesson School.
