Mr. and Mrs. Robert Rex Brown, of McComb, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Lindsey Leigh Brown, of Jackson, to Seth Emerson Davis, of Jackson.

He is the son of Mark and Cathy Davis, of Brookhaven.

She is the granddaughter of Betty Jean Patterson, of Jackson, and Rex and Mary Jane Brown, of Yazoo City.

He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Jones, of Brookhaven, and Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Davis, of Brookhaven.

The bride-elect is a 2006 graduate of Parklane Academy and a 2010 graduate of Mississippi State University where she received a Bachelor of Arts in business marketing. She is currently employed with Cowboy Kitchen in Jackson as a sales specialist.

The prospective groom is a 2006 graduate of Brookhaven Academy, a 2011 graduate of the University of Mississippi and a 2011 graduate of the University of Arkansas where he received a Master of Education. He is currently employed with Herff Jones as a sales representative.

The couple will exchange vows at 5 p.m., Saturday, June 18, 2016, at Fondren Church. A reception will follow at The Railroad District in Jackson.
