MHSAA officials announced the postponement of today’s 1 p.m. contest between the Loyd Star Hornets and East Union Urchins, due to incoming rain.

Game two of the Class 2A state championship series has been rescheduled to play on  Saturday at 7 p.m. at Trustmark Park in Pearl.

East Union leads the series 1-0 after defeating Loyd Star 5-1 Tuesday.
