Funeral services for Janel Jeannine Price of Summit are Thursday, June 16, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Jones Family Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Hollywood Cemetery.  Rev. Larry LeBlanc will officiate.

Visitation is Wednesday, June 15, 2016, from 5 until 8 p.m. and continuing Thursday, June 16, 2016, from 9 a.m. until time of services.

Mrs. Price, 52, died Sunday, June 12, 2016. She was born Oct. 1, 1963, in McComb to William and Betty Butler Hinton.

Mrs. Price attended First Baptist Church Summit. She was a pediatric nursing instructor at Copiah-Lincoln Community College. Her family describes her as having a loving, sweet spirit. She valued her close relationship with God. She dearly loved her son, daughter, and grandchildren. Mrs. Price was a beautiful lady and enjoyed time on the beach in the sun, fashion, and her job. Her students were very important to her.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and two brothers, Bill Hinton and Keith Hinton.

Survivors are her husband, Bill Price of Summit; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Brandon Turnage and wife, Shelby, of Hattiesburg and Hunter Hinton of Summit; a daughter and son-in law, Briana Boyd and husband, Jesse, of Brandon; two brothers and sister-in-laws, Brian Kyle Hinton and wife, Melanie, of Summit and Rick Hinton and wife, Cherie, of South Carolina; best friend, Elizabeth Wells of McCall Creek; two granddaughters, Allyn Claire Boyd and Brooklyn Boyd; and many other relatives and friends.

Memorial donations in Mrs. Price’s honor can be made to the Copiah-Lincoln Community College Nursing Department.
