Chamber celebrates National Flag Day

Photo submitted/The Brookhaven-Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce celebrated Flag Day on Tuesday by passing out free American flags to children. Flag Day occurs every year on June 14 to commemorate the adoption of the American flag on June 14, 1777. National Flag Day was established in 1949 when President Harry Truman signed an Act of Congress designating it.
